Tulip Lorenzo will bring warmth to your spring garden. This double early variety produces peony-like heads of apricot and tangerine features an abundance of soft petals that create a ruffled, romantic silhouette. Standing on sturdy stems up to 40cm in height, they make superb cut flowers for an indoor display. Ideal for borders, patio pots and containers.

- Planting Plant 8-10cm deep and approx 15cm apart.
- Soil Type Well drained, fertile soil.
- Pruning Remove faded flowers, leave the stem and foliage until they have turned yellow/brown.
Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth and spaced apart by 10-15cm. Ensure they are properly covered, you should not be able to see them on the surface of the soil. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Deadhead the flowers once they wilt, encouraging a healthier plant.
