How To Order

Ordering online is a very simple and secure process. 

There are two basic ways to place an order. Whether you have a catalogue and know the codes or would prefer to browse our products leisurely, here is how to do so.  

Ordering Online Using OurCatalogue 

In the search box located on the right of the screen, enter the catalogue number or product name that you wish to order. 

The item will be displayed on thescreen. Click on it to display the product details and prices. 

Select the quantity you desire and click the BUY button to add them your basket. The page will be refreshed, and your item will appear in your basket. 

If you want to order further items, simply repeat the process until you have everything you want. 

You can easily amend the quantity of an item or delete it from your basket by altering the quantity on the basket page.Click the ‘Update Shopping Basket’ button to update your changes. 

Once the basket page shows all the items you wish to purchase, select the 'Proceed to Checkout' button. 

Ordering Online by Browsing 

Select the 'Products' menu on the left of the page to select the group of products you wish to view. 

Having selected a product group, the relevant products will be displayed on screen, and you can click on each item to display the product details and prices. 

Select the quantity you want and click the ‘BUY’ button to add the item to your basket. The page will be refreshed, and your item will appear in your basket.

Processing the Order Online 

Once the trolley page shows all the items you wish to purchase and you have selected the 'Proceed to Checkout' button, you will have two options to choose from. 

A new Customer- If you are a new customer, a form will appear where you will have to register your name, address, and contact details to continue to checkout. You can also register a password, which can be used for future orders to save you time.  

An Existing Customer- If you are an existing customer, you can log in using your email and security password. 

You will be presented with a summary of your order including billing/delivery details, items ordered, and the total order value. 

Registered Account Holders- If you are a registered account holder, you can enter your Account Number and click the ‘Place My Order’ button. This will allow you to attach the order to your account and we will invoice you in the usual way. 

Payment Details can be entered online using our secure payment screen. Once all details have been entered you can click on the ‘Place my Order’ button and your payment will be processed. You will then receive a confirmation of your order details online, and we will also forward an email to confirm you’re order to the email address entered when placing the order. 

All orders are processed and charged in one payment at the time of placing the order online. We accept payment by the following credit and debit cards – Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, and Visa Electron. Your credit/debit card details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. 

Points to Note 

Minimum Order Value– We do not require a minimum size order;however, we would appreciate our customers keeping within the spirit of wholesale. Larger quantities and bulk handling are preferred as smaller orders are costly to process. For this reason, orders under £50 (excluding VAT or carriage) are subject to an additional £4 small order supplement. Additions or additional orders cannot be added to offset the Minimum Order Value after the original has been accepted. By placing orders buyers are considered to agree with these terms. 

Carriage Charge- A carriage charge of £5.95 is added to all orders valuing at £200 (excluding VAT) or less. This differs from seed-only deliveries, which will be charged at £2.49 per order. For orders of £200 or over, goods are offered carriage paid. Please note that these carriage terms apply per order. Additions or additional orders cannot be added to qualify for free carriage after the original has been accepted. By placing orders, buyers are considered to agree with these terms. The delivery charge is a charge in relation the packaging and carriage of goods. VAT is charged on this delivery charge as it is considered a taxable supply/service. 
 
Order Denominations – Many of our products are sold in minimum denominations, depending on the range. For example, our Tulip bulbs are sold in multiples of 25. This information can be found on the product page of your desired plant online or in our catalogue.  

Delivery Message– Customers are free to add delivery messages to online orders. When placing your order, you will have the option to add this message. To do so, click the ‘Additional Details’ button located below the delivery address on the order summary screen and enter the relevant message. This will be displayed on the parcel the courier will deliver to you and will be seen by the courier only. Any messages applicable to delivery will not be seen by our team. 

Minimum Item Quantities– Certain items will have a minimum quantity to order. This amount will be the minimum you can add to your shopping basket.If you try to add less than this quantity, a reminder message will appear on screen.
