Magnolia loebneri 'Merrill'

Magnolia loebneria Merril boasts branches laden with dainty fragrant milky-white flowers that are of a smaller size to other Magnolia varieties. These flowers begin to bloom from April and create a stunning show until June which appeal to pollinators. Once the fragrant flowers have fallen, oblong deciduous green leaves then cover the branches. A holder of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, this is a hybrid variety (a combination of Magnolia kobus and stellata) that is prized for its upright habit and robust nature.
