When it comes to beautiful foliage, Hosta are amongst the best perennials. They grow virtually anywhere, look fantastic in borders or by ponds, but are particularly effective in containers. Attractive flowers in summer. Francee produces olive green leaves, with narrow white margins. First grade loose roots supplied.

- Planting Plant with soil firmly surrounding the roots.
- Soil Type Moist, fertile and well drained soil.
- Pruning Remove damaged leaves if required in late Autumn.
Water well after planting and regularly in their first growing season. Mulch annually in spring with a good layer of leaf mound or garden compost around the plant. Slugs love hostas so you will need to protect against them. Plant straight away on arrival in any fertile, well drained soil. These are young plants, so please leave in small pots for 5 to 6 weeks and then pot on into a larger 1.5 - 2 litre pot, or plant into final spot.
