Tulip Aquila is a large semi-double tulip. It produces startling yellow blooms with a cherry pencil line along its gently pointed edge and will produce 3-5 flowers per stem. These colourful Tulips make an excellent addition to any garden or as part of a vibrant cut flower display. Height 40-45cm. Flowering from April through to May. 12cm+ Bulbs supplied.

- Planting Plant 8-10cm deep and approx 15cm apart.
- Soil Type Well drained, fertile soil.
- Pruning Remove faded flowers, leave the stem and foliage until they have turned yellow/brown.
Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth and spaced apart by 10-15cm. Ensure they are properly covered, you should not be able to see them on the surface of the soil. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Deadhead the flowers once they wilt, encouraging a healthier plant.
