• Planting Plant each tuber in a 12-15cm pot.
• Soil Type Fertile, well drained garden soil.
• Pruning Deadhead as necessary to encourage further growth.

Water freely during the growing season, so as not to let the soil dry out. Plant in Spring, in fertile and well-drained garden soil. Plant with the tubers facing downwards, and the stalk just underneath soil level. You can also pot on before popping outside in their final positions. This allows you to grow them under your watchful eye, and you can plant them outside once shoots appear in spring (as long as all threat of frost is gone).
