Water regularly once flowering begins in the summer, especially if the soil feels dry to touch. Plant after the heaviest frost subsides, as they aren't frost hardy. Lift before winter, after the plant dies back and store in a cool, dry place like a garage or shed. Plant corms approx 20 cm deep in large groups throughout the border or in a large container for the best effect.
