Our Collarette Dahlias mixed produce blooms with single rows of flat petals which surround the decorative center ball giving you a stunning and original plant foryour garden. A great way to add interest to your summer beds and borders these striking plants look great featured among other cottage garden favourites and their bright central disk is very attractive to bees. Dahlia tubers can be planted outdoors, 10cm deep in fertile well-drained soil in spring when the frost has disappeared. They prefer to be in a sunny location and spaced at approximately 45cm apart. In areas where there is extreme cold, dig up dahlias and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
