Tulip 'Linifolia' is an RHS award-winning species Tulip that will add a small burst of colour to your spring garden. Flowering from April to May, this spring beauty will produce cup-shaped flowers in a vibrant shade of scarlet red with slenderundulating grey-green leaves. 'Linifolia' makes a perfect addition to rockeries and patio pots, growing to height of only 20cm.

- Planting Plant 8-10cm deep and approx 15cm apart.
- Soil Type Well drained, fertile soil.
- Pruning Remove faded flowers, leave the stem and foliage until they have turned yellow/brown.
Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth and spaced apart by 10-15cm. Ensure they are properly covered, you should not be able to see them on the surface of the soil. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Deadhead the flowers once they wilt, encouraging a healthier plant.
