Perilla Red

Perilla (Shiso) Red, also known as a Beefsteak plant, produces deep burgundy leaves that will add colour to any herb garden. This herb is highly fragrant and has a flavour that's often regarded as cinnamon-like. Plant somewhere that reaches plenty of sun and sits in well-drained soil. Sow seeds inside from March to April or outside from May to June.
