Iris Ruby Gold is a variety of siberian Iris which produces beautiful flowers atop spiky stems. Blooms appear in late spring and show primarily as a light cherry colour. Towards the centre, a contrasting buttery yellow presents and as the flower ages, both colour ranges soften. The complementing foliage, which can draw parallels to an ornamental grass, provides interest long after the flowering period has finished.
