Iris Bluebird in Flight begins flowering in mid spring (around late April) and will continue through to late May / early June. Blooms primarily present as white and purple (with some petals purely white, some being primarily purple, and edged with white). Towards the centre of the flower, veined details appear in a copper / bronze shade, which is further contrasted by a vivid orange signal. We recommend growing Iris Bluebird in Flight towards the front of a sunny border in well drained soil - whilst small in stature, we see greater flowering success when grown like this (over growing in pots)
