Herb Parsley Italian Flat is an aromatic biennial that produces the perfect herb for garnishing an array of kitchen creations. A must-have addition to any herb garden, providing its leaves for several seasons. Pick leaves little and often to encourage continuous growth. Sow directly outside from April to June for harvest year round once established. Can also be started indoors in small seed trays, but we don't recommend this as they don't transplant well.

- Planting Sow seeds thinly (1cm deep and cover with a thin layer of soil and water gently.
- Soil Type Well drained soil
- Pruning Once the seedlings are large enough , thin out to 15cm apart removing weaker seedlings for stronger growth
Sow directly outdoors from mid-spring onwards. Ensure soil is well drained and they're in a sunny or partially shaded position. Sow seeds thinly (1cm deep and cover with a thin layer of soil and water gently. To speed germination, seeds can be soaked in warm water for 24 hours before planting. You can also plant on a windowsill throughout the year. Thin outdoor plants to 5cm apart when seedlings are 3-4cm high. Indoor windowsill pots can be left to pick young as they do not transplant well.
