Fritillaria Imperialis Aureomarginata is an exotic and unique variety that produces deeply variegated leaves and bright orange flowers. Its crown has cockatoo like yellow margined leaves. Flowers to heights of 120cm. Flowers from April.

Plant bulbs from September through to mid-December. Plant large bulbs at least 30cm deep, spaced 10cm apart. Small bulbs can be planted 5cm deep and around 3-4cm apart. For best results, plant in beds and borders, or even in containers if it's large enough and has holes for drainage. Deadhead regularly to encourage new growth, and leave to die back once they've finished flowering to allow the bulb to soak up all the energy from the sun.
