Cucamelon

Cucamelon is a unique plant that has a vigorous climbing habit. These plants produce small fruits that are the same shape as a grape, have the same markings as a watermelon, but taste like a cucumber. Their fruit appears in summer and autumn, and can last for long periods of time if they're regularly picked. Sow seeds inside from March to April, or outside from May to June. This plant is technically a tropical perennial, but is grown as an annual in more temperate climates.
