Camassia Leichtlinii Aurora

Camassia leichtlinii ‘Aurora’ is a robust perennial, reaching up to 80-90 cm in height. It produces upright spikes of star-shaped mauve-purple flowers, fading to pale pink with a bluish reverse. The blooms, approximately 5 cm in diameter, appear from late spring to early summer. Prefers moist, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade. Fully hardy in UK climates (RHS H6), it is ideal for naturalising in borders, meadows or alongside water features.
