Astilbe Look at Me is a clump-forming perennial that produces fern-like leaves and baby-pink plumes. Grows up to 45cm tall, and flowers from early summer to mid-season. A perfect choice for adding colour to your seasonal displays.

Astilbes are often chosen for borders due to their gorgeous colour and short stature. If clumps become too large for the space, you can divide and replant in fresh soil in Autumn. Plant in well dug, prepared soil, and add a little manure or organic matter if possible. Astilbes thrive in damp locations, particularly at the edge of a pond, but are also great for containers or borders. Soak roots in a bucket of water for 2-3 hours before planting. Dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the root system. Firm in gently and water well.
