Aquilegia 'Winky Double Blue is a bicoloured bloom, appearing in shades of dark purple and a creamy white around the edges of each petal. This variated colouring and an abundance of blooms on each plant promises an impressive seasonal display throughout summer. Achilleas are easy to grow and maintain. They can survive most soil types, as long as it is not waterlogged. Position somewhere sunny or semi-shaded. Plant in spring, digging a generous hole to house the module, adding some grit to the bottom of the hole to aid drainage. Add the module to the hole and fill the edges with soil, firming it down so it's nice and snug. Water well, especially during prolonged boughts of heat.
