Ajuga reptans Burgundy Glow has something for every season. It has variegated green foliage with white edging and a rich purple blush which becomes stronger and more prominent as the months continue. Ideal choice for ground cover in your borders or planted in large containers. This is a very low maintenance, mat-forming plant which will appreciate the more shaded garden locations.

Ajuga plants can be pruned back in early spring to help keep them under control, as they will spread quickly once established. They prefer a sheltered location, but can be grown in almost all reasonable soils, in either partial sun or shade. Water regularly, but take care not to over water. Plant out in spring as soon as possible to give them time to establish. To plant, dig a hole in the border thats big enough to house the entire root ball. Do this until the top of the soil from the module is just below the top of the pot. Fill around the modules with soil and firm them down gently.
