Spinach Rubino F1 is a gorgeous hybrid vareity that produces uniform green leaves with red stems and purple veins. Prefers being sown in cool conditions, preferably in spring and autumn Has resistance to mildew.

Spinach will germinate best in cool soil. This means you can sow them outside in early spring, as soon as the ground is frost-free and can be worked with. Sow seeds in August to September for an autumn harvest. Sow these seeds 12-18 seeds per foot about half an inch deep in drills. Thin out when they're big enough to handle. Clip at the base of the leaf for a clipped spinach or at the root attachment for rooted spinach.
