Rosa rugosa (50cm+)

Rosa rugosa Pink is an upright shrub that produces pretty pink blooms on thorny stems. Loved by pollinators, this shrub is perfect for the summer garden as its long flowering blooms create a gorgeous display for months on end! Its blooms flower in both summer and autumn, followed closely by large tomato-like orange hips. Its glossy green foliage will turn yellow in autumn, giving you a varied display throughout its season. Grows to a height and spread of 1-1.5 metres over 2-5 years after planting. Please note: Fragrant rose's perfume is usually the most potent on warm, sunny days, while sat in moist soil. Its important to imitate these conditions, as it will release the fragrant chemicals within the flowers. High humidity increases the longevity of the fragrance as it reduces the chance of the chemicals evaporating.
