Tulip Van Eijk is an elegant Darwin Hybrid Tulip that is grown for its beautiful blooms and strong, sturdy stems. It will produce spectacular, large pinkish-red blooms on tall stems, that are guaranteed to make an impact. Growing to a height of 45-55cm, this Tulip is an ideal size for planting in beds, borders, patio pots and containers.

- Soil Type Well drained, fertile soil.
- Pruning Remove faded flowers, leave the stem and foliage until they have turned yellow/brown.
Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth and spaced apart by 10-15cm. Ensure they are properly covered, you should not be able to see them on the surface of the soil. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Deadhead the flowers once they wilt, encouraging a healthier plant.
