Named by the breeder after his wife, Mrs RO Backbone was first introduced in 1921 and is the oldest of the pink Daffodils. A wonderful new introduction for our range, this charming variety produces beautiful white petals that surround the soft orange-pink trumpet which matures to a stunning pink colour over time. Ideal for patio pots, containers and the border, this historic pink Daffodil will look spectacular wherever it is plantedand makes excellent cut flowers for the vase. Flowers March-April. Height 40cm. 12/14cm bulbs supplied.

- Soil Type fertile, well drained soil
Best planted in well drained, fertile soil. Keep soil moist during the growing season and allow the leaves to die back naturally before deadheading. They can be lifted and moved once the foliage has died off or they can be left to naturalise when planted in grass or under trees, where they can be left undisturbed for years. Cut when fully open, as the colour does not develop so very well in flowers cut in young stage.Plant at least 10cm deep in the autumn. Space as desired or plant in clumps for a cluster display. Daffodils prefer a spot well sheltered from the wind, preferably with plenty of access to sun.
