Echinacea Verdana is a unique variety of echinacea that produces green flower heads with a spiked centre and short petals. They’re an impressive addition to any summer garden, especially when grown in large groups through a border or in a container.

- Planting Plant in well dug prepared soil, add a little manure or organic matter if possible
- Soil Type Rich, well drained soil
- Pruning Dead head after flowering to encourage further blooms
Plant in spring/summer, once soil has warmed. Cut back when blooms begin to fade, as this will help encourage future growth. Protect from excessive winter wet. Ideal for containers and front of border displays. Dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the entire module. Do this until the top of the soil from the module is just below the top of the pot. Fill around the modules with soil and firm them down gently. Water well.
