This variety is named after a Dutch princess and is a popular single early Tulip. Flowers are a unique blend of bright orange with a contrasting purple flame which complements the short dark stems and foliage. Great in pots, or in a border beside other similar varieties and colours, such as Apricot beauty. These long lasting flowers will add a feature point to your garden. Choose a sunny location and plant in fertile, well-drained soil for best results. Perfect for those tricky exposed locations where other varieties struggle. 12cm+ bulbs supplied.

- Pruning Remove faded flowers, leave the stem and foliage until they have turned yellow/brown.
Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth and spaced apart by 10-15cm. Ensure they are properly covered, you should not be able to see them on the surface of the soil. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Deadhead the flowers once they wilt, encouraging a healthier plant.
