An amazing selection of double flowering Tulips in a myriad of rainbow colours. Like the name suggests, these double Tulips look much like the Peony due to their ruffled layers of petals, which gives them a fuller look than the usual single Tulips. Robust growers producing enormous size on strong stems. Flowering late in April or early May, we supply 10-11cm bulbs for an impressive display. Height 45-60cm.

- Planting Plant 8-10cm deep and approx 15cm apart.
- Soil Type Well drained, fertile soil.
- Pruning Remove faded flowers, leave the stem and foliage until they have turned yellow/brown.
Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth and spaced apart by 10-15cm. Ensure they are properly covered, you should not be able to see them on the surface of the soil. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Deadhead the flowers once they wilt, encouraging a healthier plant.
