Sow seeds in late February to April under cover and somewhere warm. Don't cover the seeds with soil, as they need sunlight to germinate. It can take 10-21 days for the seeds to germinate, when kept at 18-21 degrees celsius. If you don't have a propagator, you can put a sheet of glass over the tray or put the tray in a plastic bag to help retain humidity. When they're big enough, transplant the seedlings into trays or pots, growing them on in cooler temperatures. Once the threat of frost has passed, harden plants off and plant them about 20-30cm apart.
