Dahlia ‘Karma Serena’ produces large, fully double white blooms with pale yellow centres from July to October. Compact, upright plants reach around a metre tall with a spread of 50 cm, forming tidy clumps that support abundant flowers on strong, straight stems. Part of the Karma Collection, bred for the cut-flower industry, it offers reliable performance for professional cutting while also adding refined vertical structure to borders and containers. Prefers fertile, well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Half-hardy; tubers should be lifted and stored over winter.

Dahlia tubers can be planted outdoors, 10cm deep in fertile well-drained soil in spring when the frost has disappeared. They prefer to be in a sunny location and spaced at approximately 45cm apart. In areas where there is extreme cold, dig up dahlias and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
