• Planting Plant in freshly prepared soil wth enough room to accomodate the roots, adding some organic matter.
• Soil Type Moist, rich and well drained soil.
• Pruning Prune annually after flowering to remove spent flowers and leaves.

They are often chosen for borders. If clumps become too large for the space available you can carefully divide and replant in fresh soil in Autumn.Plant out as soon as possible. Plant in well dug prepared soil, and add a little manure or organic matter if possible.
