Leek Jolant is an early variety that allows six months of harvest. This leek holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit due to its resistance to disease and realiabiltiy.

Sow seeds from January to February under glass, or from March to April directly outside in position. To sow indoors, place seeds sideways roughly 1cm deep in pots or trays filled with compost. Harden off indoor grown seedlings from April, planting out to 25-30cm apart. When sowing directly outside, do so thinly in drills that are spaced 30cm apart. Water regularly, especially in dry periods.
