Gladioli Blue Star provides a blooms in delightful blends of pinkish purple with a hint of white in the centre. These varieties are a pleasure to see in any garden. They effortlessly suit the present day smaller homes and are ideal for artistic floral work. Supplied in size 12cm+ corms. Height 60-80cm.

You can water regularly as the growth begins to appear and you can dead head when flowers begin to die off, though make sure to leave foliage to grow throughout the summer. In late autumn when frosty and cold nights are likely to return, you shouldlift and dry the corms and store over the winter in a frost free shed/garage until ready to plant again next year.Plant gladioli corms about 10-15cm deep and about 10-15cm apart, in fertile/well drained soil in spring. Planting can be done in succession from early March onwards to the end of May at fortnightly intervals. This ensures a continuity of flowersthroughout the summer months. When planting in a heavy soil, place some sand underneath each corm to help with drainage.
