Cut back eryngiums when their blooms begin to fade, as this will help encourage future growth. Plant in well-dug and prepared soil. Protect them from excessive winter wet. Ideal for planting in containers and front of border displays. Dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the root system. Firm in gently and water well.
