Cytisus boskoopii 'Boskoop Ruby'

Cytisus boskoopii Boskoop Ruby, or more commonly known as Broom, produce whispy branches covered with masses  of dark crimson-red flowers on upright shoots in late spring and early summer. An excellent shrub for borders and flowerbeds with the additional benefit that this hardy shrub is that they are easy to grow and require little maintenance, so are perfect for even the novice gardener. Growing to a height and spread 1.5m, they will flourish in sunny areas of the garden in fertile, sandy/loam soil.
