  • Crocus minimus is a compact early-spring species featuring small mauve-lilac flowers with delicate purple veining and a pale yellow throat. It blooms between March and April, with flowers lasting around three weeks. Plants reach heights up to 10 cm, grown from bulbs sized 5/6 cm. This crocus thrives in well-drained soils under full sun to partial shade and is hardy in UK climates (RHS H4). Ideal for rockeries, alpine beds and planting beneath deciduous shrubs.
