Cosmos Gazebo Red is your next favourite for the summer garden. This pollinator-friendly annual produces dark red (almost purple) daisy-shaped flowers with bright yellow centres. A gorgeous choice for any border or container, or even a bouquet.

Sow seeds indoors or under cover in warm conditions 4-6 weeks before the last frost in individual pots or trays (around March-April). Sprinkle seeds over trays and cover with 1/4 inch fine soil. Ensure the soil stays partly moist and warm during germination - preferably somewhere that gets plenty of sunlight like a windowsill. Can be sown directly outdoors after the danger of frost has passed, usually from July to October. Thin to 12 inches apart when plants are 5-10cm tall. Gradually move plants grown inside outdoors after all danger of frost has passed.
