Astrantia major Rosensinfonie is a striking and popular cottage garden perennial. Clusters of tiny pinkish white flowers surrounded by a rosette of rich crimson petal-like bracteoles. Astrantia are a beautiful and extremely photogenic plant, they are a must have addition to a summer bouquet. Besides being an excellent cut flower and very popular, Astrantia are a useful addition to a bed or border. They are happiest in dappled shade, prefer moist humus-rich soil. Supplied as first grade loose roots.
