Alcea rosea Charters Weiss is a wonderful, pure white hollyhock bloom that will be a wonderful addition to any garden display throughout the season. These Hollyhocks attract butterflies whilst adding character to the back of the garden border or containers.

Water Alcea freely during the growing season and deadhead as necessary to help prolong growth. They are suitable for planting in all types of well drained garden soil, and work best once planted in a sunny or lightly shaded location. To plant loose roots, soak them in a bucket of water for 1-3 hours before planting, then dig a hole in the border thats big enough to house the root system. Firm in gently and water well.
