Flore Pleno are a truly breathtaking variety of Lillies. Not only are they beautiful to look at, they are pollen free so will not stain. The double flowers are a vibrant orange with masses of profuse purple -black spots. giving the appearence of the skin of a tiger. They look fabulous planted in borders or patio containers. Native of China and Japan, these Tiger Lilies are robust and easy to grow. 14/16cm bulbs supplied. Height 80-90cm.

- Soil Type Fertile, well drained soil.
- Pruning Deadhead after flowering has finished. Leave as much foliage as possible so that energy is directed back to bulb.
Lily bulbs will greatly appreciate the shelter of low growing shrubs or other plants near their roots. In active growth, apply water freely a high potash liquid fertilizer every two weeks or so. When planting, each bulb should surrounded with a little sharp sand both under and above the bulb to keep slugs away and to ward off excessive wetness. As most lilies are stem rooting, we strongly recommend you plant about 15cm deep. They give a much better display when planted in clumps of 3, 6 or 12 bulbs, spaced 45cm apart. Plant from December to April to see them appear in summer.
