Add some charm to your spring display with this new introduction to our Darwin Hybrid Tulip range. Mystic Van Eijk is a wonderful Tulip that will produce enormous, weather-resistant pink blooms on top of sturdy, tall stems from April to May. A favourite among florists, this hardy variety makes excellent cut flowers for bouquets and indoor vase displays. Perfect for planting in the spring border or in patio pots and containers.

- Planting Plant 8-10cm deep and approx 15cm apart.
- Soil Type Well drained, fertile soil.
- Pruning Remove faded flowers, leave the stem and foliage until they have turned yellow/brown.
Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth and spaced apart by 10-15cm. Ensure they are properly covered, you should not be able to see them on the surface of the soil. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Deadhead the flowers once they wilt, encouraging a healthier plant.
