Dahlia Art Nouveau is a dwarf Dahlia variety that produces deep pink, almost purple flowers. Their compact habit and strong flowering nature make them an ideal option for a garden border or patio containers, where they will bloom prolifically throughout the summer. Illustrated here with Art Deco (orange with red highlights). Height 30-45cm. Flowers June to October. Top grade tubers supplied.

Dahlia tubers can be planted outdoors, 10cm deep in fertile well-drained soil in spring when the frost has disappeared. They prefer to be in a sunny location and spaced at approximately 45cm apart. In areas where there is extreme cold, dig up dahlias and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
