The definitive English desert apple, excellent aromatic flavour. Apple Cox's Orange Pippin is a red tinted apple that can be enjoyed eaten fresh. Its fruit ripens in October and is ready to pick when they easily part from the spur when given a gentle twist. During April and May, the tree itself develops beautiful white flowers that attract pollinators to the garden. This is a self-sterile tree so will need a pollinator. Two-year-old dwarf wood stock supplied, (Pollination Group 3).

- Planting Make sure the roots are planted in well prepared soil, with enough room to develop.
- Soil Type Moderately fertile, well drained soil and non acid soil.

If possible prepare the ground some time in advance of planting. Open out holes and plant with enough space toaccommodate the roots without cramping them. Plant in a sunny location as they do not prosper too well in the shade. Make sure that you plant with a stake, as this will be needed for at least five years to help support the tree. Begin weed control prior to planting and keep a clean ring around the plant (with a radius of approx 24inches
