Imperata cylindrica 'Red Baron'

Red Baron' is a spectacular Imperata cylindrica variety. A stunning perennial grass that produces flat linear leaves in a colourful, eye-catching shade of red. As the plant matures throughout the year, the base of the grassy spikes fade to a green providing a colourful display. The spikes are accompanied by silvery-grey flowers that bloom from June through to August. Easy to grow, this is a magnificent grass to grow, adding character to the front of garden borders, rockeries or containers where it will reach a height of 40cm. 2L pot plants supplied.
