Agapanthus poppin Purple is a fast-growing variety that produces clusters of dark purple blooms. These flower heads are of a traditional agapanthus shape, but with a twist. Alongside the quintessential trumpet flowers, small purple buds sit atop the flower. They're unusual and exquisite, providing a perfect summery backdrop to your flower beds.

To plant loose rooted agapanthus, start by soaking the roots in a bucket of water for 1-2 hours beforehand. Then, dig a hole in the border that is big enough to house the root system. If you‚Äôre planting them in pots, then fill a large pot halfway with soil, adding the crown of the plant pointing upwards. Ensure the crown is just below the soil. Water well once planted. Loose rooted agapanthus should be planted in spring directly into the garden somewhere that gets plenty of sunshine.
